I’m reading this right now, 5 days before the 9 hour drive to New York. Kinda wish I was going to be taking a trip like Raoul, but I don’t think my parents would go for that.

Last night at 3 a.m., I got a call from a bar interested in hiring me as a waitress in the Lower East Side. That was enough to send me into a spiral of worry about how I’m going to survive in NYC. I finally fell asleep, and dreamt about walking down 5th avenue in the snow with my green coat on. When I woke up, I was overcome with a feeling of peace.
Now I remember why I’m doing...
I tweeted a couple days ago “I have never been more inclined to pack a suitcase and buy a one-way ticket to New York City”.
Guess what? Yeah, it’s happening. I have 6 days to sort out 22 years of childhood stuff in the room I grew up in. I’m frantic, filling suitcases and boxes and making stacks of stuff to give away.
This feels so good. I have fantasized about this...
